While many current bands take the sound of the post-punk Manchesters' more angular guitar bands as a template, (We Are) Performance sound as though they have listened to the likes of Section 25 and early Human League.
From this (impressive) template they are creating a very original noughties electro pop sound that could trouble the charts in the near future. For now they are troubling the Northern Quaters own Night & Day. Check out the sound via their web site and live TONIGHT!
